This was taken at the end of June so it's grown a little since then, and currently I'm torn between buzzing the bottom again or letting it grow because I miss being able to throw my hair into a ponytail when I don't feel like dealing with it.
The only problems I have with this style is that, like I said, it's impossible to do any sort of ponytail, except for my very top layers which, according to my boyfriend, makes me look like a samurai. What a compliment, right? Anyway, I also have an undercut (you can see my sideburns) so that'll set me back when it grows in.
But I like my hair now way more than how it was before. I've always been kind of a tom boy so I get uncomfortable when my outfit or hairstyle is too "girly," and with this haircut it's easy to wear anything I want and feel feminine, but also feel like myself.
I like to wear my bangs to one side, and the other side tucked behind my ear. It's pretty versatile, too, there's a bunch of different styles I've played around with, but most days I'll tame it with pomade and a straightener (looks similar to Twiggy's iconic haircut). My favorite look is my "hot mess-slept on-day after washing/styling" 'do:
Since I'm all caught up with how my hair's been growing, I'll be posting more daily styling pictures, products I like, tips, inspiration, etc.
